First the good news - my mother is now cancer free!!
Now the bad news - for at least some of you.
It is time to retire the Big Red Barn Bazaar. When we started the bazaar way back when, there were many crafters and artists. Today they are few and far between. Times have changed and it seems easier and less expensive to go buy it at the store than to make it. Over the years we have made many friends and we hold you all close to our hearts. I need to stop typing this now because I am not sure how my computer will react to tears in the keyboard! Please always know this - that I have grown to be a better person because of you all and I do know that people do care for each other. I am not going to say good bye but know I will see you again somewhere out there in my journies. You will still see me and my Christmas items for sale at least one craft show and that will be at Nampa High School on December 3. Come by and see me and wish me a happy birthday! I'm going to leave the web site up for awhile so I can go back and relive some fun memories. .
After doing the Big Red Barn Bazaar for over 15+ years - it is sad to say that we have to cancel it for this year.
My dear mother at the age of 83 has cancer and I, being her only child, need to be with her for her radiation treatments which are five times a week for over five weeks.
I already have the barn all set up and decorated for the season and just awaiting for all the items to come in. But golly, my thoughts and heart tell me to be with my mom at this time
I wish you all the success for this holiday season!
I and my mom will miss seeing all our friends that we have made in the past years at the Big Red Barn Bazaar!
We truly love you all!
Thank you so much for your understanding,
Big Red Barn Bazaar
Look what the Kuna Melba News said . . . .
"The moment you step foot in the Big Red Barn Bazaar, you're transported to some sort of old-time Western Christmas Land, surrounded by ornaments, lights, handmade crafts and Christmas music."
It's hard to believe that we have been doing this for over a decade, since 2002! And we are looking forward to the 2015 season and getting to see our crafters and shoppers and friends!
